UPDATE: Gas price in Europe tops record high of $1,300 per 1,000 cu m

MOSCOW, Oct 5 (PRIME) -- The price for gas on the European market has jumped by over 10% to hit another record high of U.S. $1,300 per 1,000 cubic meters on Tuesday, as seen by PRIME in the ICE Futures trading data.

The price reached $1,303 per 1,000 cubic meters as of 11:40 a.m., according to the trading data.
